Pioneer P8000BT
My ipod is connected in the back and sits in the glove compartment. The head unit controls the ipod. Has bluetooth so calls come in through the speakers.

I modified the bezel myself. Wasn't too difficult. Definitely takes time and patience. The fog light switch and nameplate are still in there. This picture was more of a test fit. Everything's back together now. The hardest part of fabricating the bracket to fit the stock location and work with the stereo. I got the stereo for about $200 on ebay, but most retailers online have it for $250.

I got this one...Panasonic CQ-C8303U
I don't have pics of it in the car, but it's very simple.
Unlike other head units it can be seen in direct sunlight and you can read the names of the songs (you'd be very surprised to know how many decks there are where you can't read the songs or anything on the screen with the sun on it). It sounds amazing, the controls are easy, and it's subtle blue lighting at night looks amazing.
It has a remote too.
I've had about 5 different CD/MP3 players and this one by far is the best out of Kenwood, Clarion, Pioneer.
The only thing I wish it had was USB, but that wasn't common when I bought it. So get a Panasonic!

I love mine! My iPod is connected in the glove box, then my phone is connected via a USB connection and can sit there and charge. Plus the bluetooth brings the calls through the headunit so I can answer and dial through it.

take note that a double din will take some modifications to make it fit properly...its not a direct replacement for the factory h/u..

YESSS what model is that? the one i was looking at could do all of that well asside from the bluetooth you have to add a module for that i think... but it was still capable.. and it was just all so awesome hahaha wayy better than stock
yeaapp.. they were telling me that the factory is a din and a half so i know they sell a double din bezel.. but i dont know if you have to cut behind the bezel as well.. i would assume you do
i dunno if you guys have auto image around you but its a place we have in NJ kinda like a franchise place that was gonna do it for me for 700 h/u and labor (modifying the dash and such) seemed pretty good because the small business across the highway and down the road was going to charge me 800.. what do you guys think aboutt that? i know its a lot but it almost seems worth it lol it seems like theres no better way to go..Last edited by Maro SS; 05-23-2010 at 12:19 PM.

Mine's the Alpine IVA-W505. I haven't gotten the navigation for it yet, but I'm hoping to in the near future. They brought out a brand new head unit that is nearly identical to mine, but has bluetooth and navigation built in, so you don't have to buy the separate modules like I did. It's the INA-W900.
