squeeling A/C clutch, pulley

So last year I spilt antifreeze on my a/c when changing the water pump out. The a/c clutch squeeled afterward and a buddy told me to hose it down, the front, and back and inside with wd40 that worked for the duration of last summer. Well, the squeel is back after sitting for so long in my garage, I trid the same techinique and its still there. any suggestions besides replacing it?

Is it the belt that squeeling? I'd suggest replacing the belt. The coolant and WD-40 is probably soaked in and the belt isn't gripping like it should be.

nope, not the belt, i replaced that. I replaced the small tensioner and guide pulley too. It is definately the a/c

You could try some silicone spray. With the engine running, spray some silicone on the A/C belt to see if the squeal goes away. If not, with the engine off, try some RTV on the inside of the belt and then run the engine to see if the squeal goes away.

Sounds like the compressor clutches are going. I don't know if they can be serviced or if it's easier to replace the whole thing.
