I have a buddy that swears by BF Goodrich drag radials. Anyone tried these?

345/30-18 BFG DRs hooked well enough to spit the diff out of a Lingenfelter twin turbo 427 car during a MotorTrend standing mile event

Need to have traction to break stuff?? How come I broke so much shit with sumitomos? They made my camaro seem like 600 horsepower spinning all over. Lol

That depends what kind of stuff you broke. When the twin turbo vette launched on PS2s, it spun like crazy. When it launched on the DRs, it hooked and destroyed the rear diff. Traction + power will show the weaknesses in your drivetrain. Less traction is usually more forgiving on the hardware.

2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
M/T ET Street Drag Radials all the way. Best radial drag tire out there.
I wouldn't DD them though. Too soft.67 Camaro: K-K + 797-z (look it up), 454/Th400/4.10 12-bolt = 6mpg, PS/PDB/PW tilt, tach, gauges...
2005 Corvette LS2/M6 Magnetic Red Metallic (What else would it be?) w/ Cashmere interior
2002 Z28: NBM/Tan, MTI smooth lid, smooth bellows, !AIR, !cats, 1-3/4" QTP SS LT's, 2-1/2" TD's with X-pipe, MagnaFlows dumped at axle, custom welded SFC's, MidWest Chassis body mount adjustable T/A, 3400 stall, 3.23 gears (was 2.73). Tuned: 343rwhp/357rwt (before TD's). Best: 12.559 @ 108+, 1.73 60' @ 3500' DA w/MT ET Street DR's.
Carbon footprint? CLOWN SHOE!

Black- '02 Trans Am WS6
I am running Nitto Invos on 497 rwhp right now and love them on the street. Haven't track tested them yet, but they hook very well for non drag radials. Running an IPS Motorsports motor/6-speed/Moser 33 spline axle 12 bolt with 4.30:1 gears.
