You have to drill a 1-3/4" hole at the back of the passenger side strut tower and then the wires are run underneath, between the strut tower and wheel well liner. It's pretty easy to do and really cleans up the look of the engine bay. This link provides the details: http://www.flickr.com/photos/lswon/s...740314/detail/

here,s a couple more pics. It is a vortech v9 that I bought used for $2800,I polished it and put on last winter. Since the first pic I had it speed density tuned added abs delete/ linelock and a little braided line. believe it or not it,s not that bad to change the plugs which was never any fun anyway.
    when I first got it

    and now

I like the look, except the air box looks out of place. Have you ever thought of maybe this setup:

    http://www.bmrfabrication.com/Dressup/ls1shroud1.jpg

Its a polished radiator support from BMR.

Thanks, last year I ran a 11.20/ 123mph with stock rims and drag radials. Over the winter I got some bogarts and qa1s and put a 411 gear, so I,m really hoping for a 10 anything

I was running a 3.50 gear before. But I thought the 4.11 would help my 60ft times. We,ll see

I been waiting to get into this thread for about two years, from stock dusty engine to this:

I just finished the intake install tonite and I still have some clean up & tweaking to do. I have a few more projects for the engine bay but this will hold me until winter, cruising season is here for the summer.
