my buddy chris stabbed his self trying to open a box... he was using a very expensive and professionaly sharpened kitchen knife... it went into his chest 4" and collapsed his lung... he was in the intensive care unit for 4 days!!! he was 20 imnutes away from drowning in his own blood... he has a drain tube in his side to let the blood out... all he wants is a beer...

Just plain sick. They kind of remind me of supra's/rx-7's in a way, their styling STILL looks really awesome to this day and they can make HUGE power. Judging by what I read, you can get BIG AWHP from these things really easy. Def. cool cars.

sigh..... Sure would be a blast. Till your crank gets cranky and goes for a walk. I actually was a few minutes away from buying a 2000 eclipse GT. It was a three way race between a 2002 black Firebird V6 automatic leather interior with headers and exhaust and unkown other mods, a 1997 Saturn SC2 with 36k miles leather interior 5 speed one owner stock or a 2000 Eclipse GT with a 5 speed with 98k miles, a new clutch, leather... pretty much loaded.
I took the Saturn. I second guess myself every day. The Saturn was 4,650 the Firebird was 6,500 I can't remember the price of the Eclipse but it was close to there as well. Something tells me that Eclipse would have been fun as hell and a better highway car than the Saturn. I think I did good for passing on the V6 bird because I'd have always wanted the V8..... prob would have gotten a V8 anyway lol.
But those eclipses have an amazing aftermarket and seem like a TON of fun to drive.
Edit: thinking about it... I think the eclipse was like 3 or 4k.... was a pretty fair price vs market value.

they make huge power for five minutes, or however long it takes to line up a race then have it blow up on camera

Yea, I would have got the Eclipse, def. sick rides. But look at what you have now

I think I do actually recall reading some stuff about them blowing up from time to time under a lot of power. But damn, it seems real easy to get them up to that point. Still would probably be a nice DD'er, doesn't have to be a 650AWHP car for it to be fun and quick around town.
