I drove to Raleigh yesterday and the pollen was so thick it looked like smoke. Out here in the more rural areas, I guess since there are more trees, the pollen has somewhere else to go instead of just floating through the air.

Allergy website says oak pollen alone passed 3500 today. The sidewalk in front of my building is yellow.

Wow they're teaching kids young nowadays, I only recently learned the truth about the stork... for most of my life I got fed some bullshit story about using a penis to... well anyway, looking back, I can't believe I bought that ridiculous story. Storks are way more obvious. Can't believe I didn't realize it sooner.

Oh, by the way, I was being facetious with this post.
The pollen here is so bad along with the wind that it's like a sandstorm here except with pollen. A pollen sandstorm. A pollenstorm. Hmmm.
Anyway, going outside today I thought to myself "what's with the smoke"... that's when I noticed the greenish-yellow tinge.... Definitely had a complete WTF moment when I realize the air was thick with pollen.
I would take out my ipod for 10 seconds to change the song and within that time frame so much pollen would accumulate on the screen it would be an almost instant 20% opacity increase.
It's thick enough to be visible as a cloud of it moving in the wind, but fine enough to not irritate your eyes if it gets in there (I'm not allergic), however after enough time outside the gunk you wipe out of the corners of your eyes will be completely yellow.
Not to mention and darker-colored clothing instantly looks 10 years old due to the off-color fading caused by the lighter-colored pollen.
Shit's fucking insane, hasn't been this thick here in years.
