Update: Custom TB prep work for machining..
Okay here we go... On to custom TB.. Since I'll be fabbing an intake for my TT I got started on my custom TB in prep for getting it machined and ported.
I started with this:

Then cut:
On to the press for pilot holes for the new way of mounting..
Once I get it back from machining I'll begin prep work on intake design.. More to come..

I still need my IAC, and TPS sensors. Don't know if I'll polish or paint it yet tho. The entire plenum and all were painted from the factory in casting grey.. All the sharp corners and extra material will be removed and/or smoothed on the TB so it has my personal touchs and its apearance will be different..

Worked most of yesterday machining and thinkin/planing..... Then most of the night to produce my new custom TB.. Have a look see....
Yes I have the right screws for the IAC sensor these are temps for quick pics have to find my machine hardware somewhere around here
...

My "new" TB will now be configured in an inverted mounting position. This will allow the now abandon coolant passage to be used as a vacc block..
And 2 TB studs will be set later on in the project..

Correct but incase you have'nt noticed this happens to be the v6 section.. Those turbos were inspected by a machine shop they are fine. Originally Posted by AFASTYZFR1
