Phantom Black Metallic- 2004 GTO M6
Ran mine at Lebanon Valley up near Albany. Track had flooded a month or two prior to me going. Dust all over the track and street tires left me with a 14.4 @ 99 mph. Oh well.

I wish there were closed airstrips like in Top Gear where we could drag/road course our cars.

I see that nothing has changed in my brief absence from the Board... I have a 110 mile trip to get to the track. Went one time late last year and it was a blast!
Got a bite on the bike -- coming to look at it Friday evening!!!
That may mean more money for car parts!

This is another random question I have. This one is for the G-Body guys (I think thats what they're called?)
If there was a 2001 Buick Park Avenue that you could get for free with 137k, would you snatch it up?
Just kind of wondering everyones opinion on this, my best freind has a chance to get one for free with 137k, the car belongs to his grandmother who can no longer drive, and she is willing to let him have it since she knows his truck ( 69' C10) is out of commision and probably will be for a long time.
How much life does that car have left in it? If im correct, those have the 3.8's, and hers is a non-supercharged.
I think he should go for it, if the car still has some left in it (I don't know anything about this motor or bodystyle car, which is why i'm asking you all). IMO if he gets a drop, some nice subs, tinted windows, maybe some different wheels, it would be a sweet dd for sure.
But yea, what are these cars all about? They still any good at this mileage?

Guiness extra stout! It's Irish beer, made in New Brunswick, Canada. And to transam, he should drive it as is. It's a park avenue dude..

yeah... i drive a hour and a half to get to the track... not so fun when you break down...
last time i went took 2 hours 10 minutes... then had to wait 40 minutes to get inside...

but according to tap it's lame that us PA folk don't go to the track all the time...
