That's as funny as a post I saw on the Mach forum once, where some retard proclaimed that Z06 Corvettes are "cannon fodder" for Mach 1's because the Z06 at his local track runs high 13's.

Unless that's a highly modded GTP I don't think the Mach 1 was racing. Unless he didn't shift into the right gear or broke something. I beat a GTP with a lightly modded 3.4 Alero!

I dont doubt you at all. Some people think that there car is god. That includes the ls1 cars as well, and the ls2 goats. I love the ls1 and have a great deal of respect for them. But some of you guys have a big head as well, thinking that you cant get beat.

But you can't make an assumption about a car's potential based on a bad driver.

There is a thread on this forum about a new WS6 owner who went to the track for the first time and had a few mid 14 second time slips (he ran a best of a mid 13 to his credit.).

Had foit3's brother lined up against that WS6 on a 14.50 run, he would have probably won, and foit3 would probably be over on the SRT4 forum telling them that they should smoke LS1's because his brother's GTP "laid the smack down" on a WS6....

over all man the mach is a very well respected car..... and thier bottom end is better than an ls1 but where we have the advantage is our top end... with both cars being stock if you can get the start you should have the race but when racing a mach with a good driver you cant let up even after you get out there.... I dont know what world you are living in, but WOW, to say he's gonna kill it and the cobra would be a better race .. ive raced my buddy's auto T/A and unless i miss a gear he's around a car behind me, at the closest! for the last 20 times we've raced... ive also raced a couple of stock 5 speed mach 1's and everytime they have pulled me by atleast 2 cars or more.. and a stock 04 cobra that ive raced numerous times also pulls me by atleast 5 cars... these guys are all good friends of mine so there is no cheatin about what they or i have... sorry to disapoint!!

i dont know what the hell ur talkin bout, the ss is gonna take the mach one for sure dependin on equal peforming drivers, however ur right the 03 04 cobras gonna def take the ss, but with a few mods then yeah it is in the category, damn ive taken mach ones in my full bolt on lt1
