Up here, they are ALL like that. Don't like to be judged by their past actions, but want to act tough and enjoy their independance. BUT DON'T HANG THEM BY WORD OR DEED...HELL NO. Then we, the nice ones who enjoy being honest are "goody-goodies" or we "look down on people". A fk up is a fk up...plain and simple.

Knew a girl years ago who was allegedly bipolar. Her friends talked ish behind her back and pointed fingers at me. She approached me and slapped me across my face and made threats but when she saw me reach for my phone, then she acted like I was ruining her life. I wrote her off as well as her "friends" but her "friends" still try to talk to me. Whatever. I am done with them all. I don't care what B.S. excuse they give me. Has been a nice 5 years without their trash tho.

Yep. I was raised if someone tells me to leave them alone, I do just that. But when I walk away permanently, then I am the "bad guy" or I "can't leave" like they are running some sort of wannabe "mafia" or something. Once ties are broken, there is NO going back...PERIOD.

i might, but it would change the relationship.
theres some girls you date even though you have no intention of marrying, or never would marry them, they are just a lot of fun.
weve all had girlfriends that are fun, theres some that you love, theres some that you love to fuck, theres some that are fun to fuck, it just depends where the relationship.

Here's an observation I find holds true no matter what the audience.
Did you ever notice the common response to "I got cheated on," is, "I treated her like gold," "It's her loss, not mine," etc?
Did anyone ever stop to think, maybe the guy she cheated on you with is actually better for her than you, or better off financially, better looking....
Everyone thinks very highly of themselves and never takes this into consideration.
And yes, I was cheated on by my GF of 3 years. I had a suspicion but buried it far down. After we were through (when I tried like a puzz to win her back) and I looked back, I realized this.
Then she confirmed.
With multiple guys (at different times).
Ouch.

Well, I don't have an ego. I just like watching folks. If a woman wants money, then I am not the one for her. But, if I were to play the lottery and win, then I would just disappear and laugh at all the facades I would see in the future. Kinda like that old "marry for love or money" quiz. I have heard women put money first and my opinion is 100% justified. My mother tells me she is happy she did not give me a sister as if my sister turned out to be a billy bad@$$ or golddigger I would be visiting my mother in jail for murder. I come from a family where there is very little margin for error. (mother is army brat)

Not a chance in hell, no double standard here either. Once a cheater always a cheater.

I don't have much experience having only been in one serious long-term relationship, but I can be 100% honest and say that my actions played a role in the fact that I got cheated on.
It's not like everything was perfect, and then she just decided to cheat. We both made mistakes, just some were less forgivable than others.

I was dumped.... yesterday.... yeah sucks. First girl I've had an actual serious interest in at any point in the last 5 years.... when I got out of my last serious relationship lol.
I need to give the girl a lot of credit though. Rather than simply stay with me and cheat she came flat out and told me that
A. She's confused (recently got out of a long term relationship of 4 years and hasn't even moved out yet....)
B. She can't feel the same way about me that I feel about her because she hasn't sorted her feelings toward her ex or recovered from the fact that it's over
C. She want's to date other people in the hopes that being out and social can help her move on quicker.
The reason she is doing this is because should something happen with her ex she doesn't want it to be like cheating on me because she said that wouldn't be fair given how I treat her. She also hopes that I'd be around should she finally gather her bearings and feel love towards me. I told her point blank "but what if I couldn't wait that long. What if you came looking and I was already gone" She started crying when she contemplated that thought.
If a girl is cheating behind your back there's a reason. She doesn't care about what she has with you for whatever reason. Compatibility, lack of passion, disinterest etc.
If she cares about you and she's not trying to screw you over and she realizes that something isn't right she should be able to come out and say it. So that you can both reach understanding.
I felt like I couldn't be mad at this girl despite how much I want to be with her and care about her. Because I know it's very soon for her. I know dating someone that lives with an ex is a GIANT waving red flag. Honestly I hope she can find peace and want me back in her life sooner rather than later. But as was stated by detroit power..... if she doesn't come back... maybe she just found something better. So do I hang around like a wounded puppy and wait or do I go out and have my fun like she claims she wants to do. The answer to that question is obvious of course. lol
