ss z28?

I've been emailing this guy from craigslist about his 1998 camaro.
Its got an SS hood but it says SS z28 in the title...i was just wondering....what the heck is an SS z28? Isnt it one or the other?

an SS is a z28 with an ''SS'' package (hood, spoiler, intake, exhaust, suspension? and im sure im leaving out something), a 35th anniversary SS i had said SS z28 on the title......Its a real SS if thats what your wondering... all v8 camaro's were originally z28's, some got sent somewhere (i think SLP) to get the SS package added on......which made the SS z28 i guess.

Yes all ss are still z28s. the ss is a package added to the z28 and the official term is Chevrolet Camaro z28 SS

yupp i forget if its the title or registration or both but they will say Z28. even if you search on KBB it will search Z28 and they you have to check the "SS Pkg" box
