Will the GTO automatic take the horsepower and torque of the pump gas (93 octane) setup at 6 or 7psi?

The GTO auto trans is quite robust for low boost turbo applications. I'd certainly recommend that you consider a large trans cooler for any FI on the GTO, cool trans fluid helps the auto clutchs live longer in high torque situations.

OK thanks for the info. I know that heat is the main reason most automatics fail. My 04 GTO lease is up in a couple months and I am going to replace it with an 05 or 06 and I love the turbo in my 96 Impala SS. Could you PM me pricing info please? And are you looking for any stateside dealers? Unlike down there, spring is right around the corner up here. :-)

Will do. I'm always wanting to find and appoint new GM performance dealers in the US with good product knowledge and who can provide a high level of customer service.

How is the sound at normal highway speed with the engine running around 2,500 rpm, I have heard fellows with the STS system talk about a annoying drone noise in the inside the car.

Sounds just like a stock car at normal highway speeds, no drone at all.

Hi all, I have one of these Aps Twin turbo kits on my Hsv ls1 in australia. The car is making 531rwhp and im in love with the power, The ride is awesome. Its very driveable around town.

I have a cast iron 402 going in soon with modified turbo's. Im hoping to make around the 850rwhp mark.

This kit is awesome peter, Very well designed....
