Silver- 2005 Toyota Corolla (DD)
Poll: C5 w/ 50k or C5 Z06 with 80k?
Since money is the big driver of the purchase, which would be a better weekend-fun car...a standard C5 with low(er) miles, or a same year Z06 with 30k more miles on the motor?
When I had a Supercharged Mustang I was only putting about 3,000 miles on it a year, if that. The corvette purchase would probably be the same thing. For the general populace, do they even know the difference between a Z06 and a standard?
Assume the C5 is the standard coupe. Does your opinion change if it was an FRC?

I'd personally pick z06. From what I've read it's a bit more raw than just the c5.

Black/Screaming Yellow- 99 S/C TA WS6 & 04 Cobra
If it was an FRC I would go for it and mod it a bit . Other than that I would go for a C-5 ZO-6 before a regular C-5.

Everybody buys a car with different "down the road intentions". When looking at purchasing a car, truck, boat, I always, ALWAYS, look at my realistic plans with/for it, and what the resale value will be after I'm done with it, should I decide to get rid of it. I think you said you'd only be putting somewhere around 3k miles a year on it? If it were me, I'd buy the Z if all things were equivalent... but that's just me
