Find someone to go to the gym with you.
I always got in ruts like that until i started working out a couple times a week with a friend of mine. It's good motivation and gives you someone to talk to and/or call you a sissy girl.

I have actually been weighing out the options....
A. Sign up at a gym for $13 a month (small place)
B. Pick up 20 pound and 30 pound sets of dumb bells. To go with 8, 15, 25, and 35's I have.
Price is cheaper for the dumb bells after about 8 months.

dude, it's good if you get burnt out to skip a week, but not much longer, I usually hit the gym 4-5 times a week. but I have a friend I meet there every night its much easier wiht someone there. I have missed 4 days but thats because im snowed in here, which sucks.

I don't know how you guys do it....nothing irritates me more than having people try to talk to me while I'm working out. Even if it was a friend. I think it distracts me more.
It's really just become part of my everyday schedule to go to the gym. It's routine for me. The only time I've really missed for an extended period of time is my trips out to Vegas the last 2 Augusts.

Theres nothing wrong with cheating and going to have some pizza or fast food once or twice a week, you almost have to. If you dont cheat a few times, when you finally do you are more likely to go on an all out binge, which snowballs and then you get "ah fuck it" syndrome and just completely fall off the wagon. Just dont allow your cheating to make you miss multiple workouts.
However, the best way to avoid burnout when training is to not overtrain and actually allow your body to recover. This is part of the flaw I find in programs like p90x. It seems like a lot of overtraining for a quick initial result, but you will get burnt out. Your muscles get stimulated through the training and grow while at rest, so if you train to much you never allow your body to actually recover and grow.

I ripped the audio from the video and made it as a track for my iPod.
