? On changing swat bars and springs
So I have been driving the z28 and hate the way it feels and turns in in the corners. Will the springs and sway bars off a 2000 ta help or should I wait and buy aftermarket stuff or what should I do.it feels like when the body flexes a lot then starts starts to roll. What's the best thing to realy stiffen up the body. Thanks

It would have to be a ws6 or a slp in order to have the front 32mm sway bar otherwise they would be the same.
My car felt much tighter with the 32mm front, if I ever get to it I will go to the 35 and a 21 or 22mm rear.
and lowering on stock shocks is only going to make the ride worse get some shocks if you decide to lower it.

How many miles on the car? What shocks are you running?

He's running Billstiens. Koni's are the way to go and that's what I have on my car which is what he's comparing it to. I told him he could have my old bars off the WS6 and it would help some. Other than that, he's not doing any mods until he gets more seat time. It's the loose connection between the seat and the steering wheel that's causing all the problems.

Which Bilstiens ?, the older better quality or the recent junk they were putting out ?

I think they are the SLP Revalved ones, but I can't be sure. I've yet to check out the car in detail as the weather here has SUCKED!

blacker than wesleysnipes- 98' trans am
if you want a nasty suspension set up ..let me tell you exactly what to get
1. koni 4/4
2. strano lowering springs
3. strano front and rear sway bars
4. wyatts link
from there you can go even more and get the front suspension modded with new adj. arms.

Assuming that all the suspension bushings are in good condition I would install a set of strano sway-bars, and a set of weld-in 2pt SFC to cut down on chassis flex. And don't forget your tire pressure, condition, and model, also plays a big role in handling.

Watt's link is the way to go, then a Unbalanced Engineering decoupled tourqe arm. Wait... I'm dreaming, this is my son's car we are talking about, so it's staying stock until I can quit paying child support for his a$$! Then he can have all MY take off parts, which by the way is Shady's recipe minus the watt's link, I had to settle for a poor man's double adjustable rod end PHR bar. He's 18 and still in high school for another year, so he's lucky to be in an Fbody as it is.

Yeah, the Watts-link is a Sweet piece! I've got one on my car. I've also spoiled my son with my passion to "Mod" cars(suspension, intake, exhaust, and stereo), but he's only driving a 04 cavalier.
