More low/midrange power
hey everybody.
I wanna increase power in my 99 WS6 A4 throughout the entire rpm range, preferably in the 2000-3000rpm range because I like low end power. What bolt ons would you recommend?
Btw I just joined Ls1.com and I must say this site is awesome!

I can't remember how strict they are in Nevada, had relatives in Reno but it's been a while.
As long as they don't do visual inspections under the car, and/or sniffer tests you would be fine.
On OBDII cars some places just plug in under the dash to check for codes and then send you on your way. What ever you feel comfortable with.

Ya I usually go to Instant smog, I think they just check for codes...maybe i should spy on them doing other cars
I think the LTs, ORY and LS6 intake would be a great solution....maybe a cat back since the dumbass who owned it before me put in a flowmaster

I don't think I want to go as far as an upgraded cam, just external bolt ons

those handheld tuners are a joke. I've had a hypertech on my last car (97 gmc yukon) and an slp diablosport predator for my trans am. Both of them little or no power gains and my trans am wouldn't go into overdrive. If i get my car tuned i'm gonna get it dyno tuned.
i like the idea of the ls6 intake and lid though...
