2001 3.8 Black - sold- 2000 SS Black M6
Sold the Camaro
Yep....the scrap yard was my only offer for the last few months. $400. Couldnt find anyone to fix it, and scammers kept hitting my ebay links.
Found a local guy who buys wrecked camaros, and fixes them. he said he currently owns 16, he showed up to look at mine in a nice white vert.
I felt OK knowing my car wouldnt be crushed, and i know that mine will either be brought back, or it can serve as parts to bring other camaros back. I took $600 for it. I feel like it was worth more than that, but its a wrecked 95 3.8 with 111k. After typing this I'm actually really sad

i know exactly how ya feel man. about a month ago my monte carlo took a crap on me. the head cracked and it would have cost me $1500 to fix it...$1500 car. i had that car since high school...it was my 2nd car but it really was more like my first car. i had it for almost 10 years and it was a close friend. i donated it to rawhide in hopes that it would get fixed up and that someone else might love it like i did for years. i cried as we drove away from it.

Got a little sideways, hit a curb head on, it was low enough that my bumper cleared, but too high for roll up on, tires hit, deflated, rims folded in, which allowed the k-member to hit, it took the brunt of the force, caving it in.
All it needed to get fixed was a k-member and new rims...but pulling that k-member is a biotch. I couldnt quite do it myself, and couldnt find a shop that would.
you ass....youre the one who dubbed me that in the first place.
oh and i thought about parting it out, but it was hard to sell because with the k-member being fucked, everyone was worried about block damage, apparently thats a common occurance
