Santro power steering problem
Hi all,
My santro LP 2003 model with 52K on the odo was given for washing & lubrication after the rains at DSC Hyundai. The Clutch was overhauled also since it was very hard.
After delivery, I found the clutch is very smooth & soft but a new noise is head. This causes even the gear to vibrate. I took the car to to DSC who informed that power steering motor bearing is 'catching' hence th noise. He said I can drive it like this till the next service. After 3 days, the noise is reduced a lot. Please advise / give your opinions.
Also, when the car motor is not runing, my steering is not turning. Tough when I had to push (petrol tank was empty). Is this normal?
Looking forward to your comments. No advertising

What the hell is a Santro LP??
Either way though, it is normal for your power steering to not work when the car is turned off. So if the steering was stiff while you were pushing the car and the engine was out of fuel, that is normal.1998 Trans Am WS6 SGM
