New Ride New Member
My name is Robert, I'm 24 and live in Midland texas. I've had several cars over the years; Jeep, Explorer, Cutlass, F150. Friday I finally bought my first sports car, which happens to be an Ls1.
I purchased a 01 z28 blue metallic, tan leather interior a4 w/ 51k miles. Engine is smooth and super powerful, interior is immaculate. Car is completely stock except for the Rims which are Eagle Alloys 5 spoke.
Some friends of mine suggested i change all the fluids, trans / filter, differential casing oil, flush radiator, and of course the engine oil / filter. Im new to this community , I look forward to chatting with you guys and getting some good solid advice, since i am a newb at these cars.
Thanks for your time guys, and it's great to meet you all, when i figure out how to use this forum ill post some pics of the ride. Anyways gotta get back to cleaning the car, while at work lol. see ya'll around.

Welcome to LS1.com. Thats a sharp looking car. You probably should change out all of the fluids to be safe.

Welcome!
Swap all your fluids. Put in synthetics. Your car will thank you.

Updated pics of the Ride
This is what you call a Stock z28.
Thanks for your replies guys, my car awaits her complete fluid replacement for this upcoming week when i get paid.
Im not sure if im ever going to mod this car, its fast enough for 4 wheels. I used to race street/dirt motorcycles back in the day for Kawasaki Team Green, i have a lot of respect for speed as ive laid down a ZX6r before at over 100 mph. I'd like to keep her stock, maybe replace the plugs/wires/airbox lid thingy/ and id love to throw on a SS hood if i ever find one. But other than that, I'm prolly gonna keep her stock.
It's actually pretty funny i drive this car like a grandma, never really take her over 2 or 3 rpm unless having to pass someone. I've only taken it about 80mph once w/ ASR off , and that was enough for me to gain mad respect for the ride. All my friends when they ride w/ me thier like Step on it Mike!!! And im like " na, this your first time to ever be in a fast car or something son ? "
Anyways these are some pics the one in the dirt is where i work at a Repo shop of all places, haha. Cellphone camera quality so dont expect too much detail. Alright guys gonna go smoke a blunt in the ride, i'll holla later.
