Well, this is poetic justice. When the whorns beat OU by 3 freakin points when we were playing our backup QB, they said....DEPTH! ya gotta have DEPTH!! Well, you KNOW what I am going to say to THEM tomorrow!!!

Gilbert played great. Can't blame him. Last year he was playing against 15 year olds. He looks like he'll be another good quarterback from Texas!
With that being said.......................ROLL TIDE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Morning! Some last thoughts about the game. Gilbert will be a really good pro style QB. Too bad that chop blocking POS O line won't be any better at protecting him. Also, if Gilberts the guy next year...and I see no reason to think that he wouldn't be...they better establish a RB. Pretty much the downfall for the texis this year. It's safe to say the lack of a dominant RB coupled with a craptastic O line finally done Colt in. Also, when looking at the WR corp I really don't see anything outside of that whitebread named Shippley. He's good and will probably translate into a role player in the league but Gilbert's gonna need a guy to toss those fades to and generally go over the top.
I think OU and NU will take texis next year. No need to worry horns fans, you'll finish 9-3. At worst 8-4 and travel within the state to the Cotton Bowl. The nation knows that you don't like to travel outside texis unless it's for a title game you shouldn't have been in.
EDIT:On another football note, I think I like the Eagles to win. I suspect the Eagles didn't want to play outside. Even if it was there turf. They pulled a rope a dope on the Cowboys to set them up for the shocker.Last edited by Huskerz1; 01-08-2010 at 06:11 AM.
