New Redskins head coach ..
After an afternoon of negotiations produced an agreement, Mike Shanahan signed a five-year contract to become head coach and executive vice president of football operations for the Washington Redskins.
Think it will help them any?? Predictions for next year ..

Pewter metallic- 2000 Camaro SS
Fucking $7 million per year
I predict 5 maybe 6 wins next year. I don't care who the coach is, can't win if you don't have players capable of putting points on the board.

skins and shanahan have a fairly long and rough road ahead of them. Not much to start with there. I never thought much of him when he was at Denver. Doubt he'll convince me otherwise in Washington but only time will tell.

I miss Shanny here in Denver. He has a pretty solid D out there. He's an offensive minded coach, so having the D out there already really helps. I think the Skins could come out and surprise some people next season.

They were a real dissapointment this year, I hope Shanahan can get it going. Ever since Snyder has owned the team it's been pretty lame. I grew up & still live in the DC area & enjoyed the glory years with Gibbs, Riggins etc. Sad to see the state of things now...

This is a start, i am excited to see the results of this next season, we also have some new players which is also good (like 8-9 if im correct), im not going to predict how we will do next year, because you can't, nobody knows what the outcome of these changes will be, got some new players on the roster, new coaching, who knows? Could be better, could be worse.....
