atenna removal
removed atenna during paint and now radio clicks on / off like a blinker? is the a result of some ground missing, havent got new winshield atenna yet.. please help, pulled fuse for now..thanks

explain more in detail removing the antenna...did u remove it from the back of the stereo? or removed it from the actual antenna location on the right rear? if you removed from right rear, is the plug itself touching metal? if it is, i would just wrap some electrical tape around it for now. should prevent this from happening

actually did away with atenna all together, going to go with a shield mount style, but i got a bad winning and the radio blinks in and out...

what do u mean the stereo blinks in and out? as in it turns on then kicks off like something is shorting out?? or what....more details on that please

ya, how did you disconnect antenna at rear?? sounds like you've shorted it somewhere and the radio is turning off as a result as already mentioned.

yeah the plan was to do cd's but it acts like its shorting in and out, i will probabably re wire all out it with the new antenna... but it work fine before it went to the shop? thats why i was wondering if losing the atenna affected it?
