Sounds to me like it works fine.
You accelerated to the tone of the HP it gave you....while spinning.

Heard nothing but GOOD things about that app. and the fact that it is indeed quite accurate.

Going to take my car out in about 5 minutes and use the IPhone Dyno program. Anyone wanna guess what it will be, I know its not 100% accurate but it will give a really rough base line. Mods below:

Stage 1 LS6 heads with sodium/hollow valves
Torquer V2 camshaft
LS7 lifters
LS2 timing chain
Lingenfelter oil pump
Hooker Longtubes
Magnaflow catback with off road y-pipe
Ported Throttlebody
Hardened pushrods
LS2 lifter trays
Underdrive pullies (spell?)
Frost Mail order tune
and shit in sig.........

I am guessing it will say about 400 hp but anyones guess is as good as mine. To my knowledge the app always is low compared to a actual dyno so.....

OK Consider me intrigued..... I'm downloading some similar apps for android as I write this. It's too bad I'm at work and have no location to REALLY try this out.

As for the OP's hp.... Don't MASH it in first. it's not about going from a dig and hooking off the line when you are looking for the hp #. try squeezing the throttle to WOT so that you are running a full head of steam in 1st gear without wheelspin when you get to the hp peak. I bet you will see better results then.

It's only important to get off the line in a hurry when you are trying to measure 0-60 or 1/4 times.

one of the apps i just downloaded asks for a lot of data but one of the requirements is that a dyno run begin around 18mph or around 2000 rpm and up to redline. I have a feeling I will be dyno testing my saturn tonight heh heh.... redline in first is not even an illegal speed lololol
