For someone that has read countless hours, if not days, figuring out which headers are best, exhaust systems etc. I can say this is an excellent sticky for any noobies out there. Read it, and read it again, it covers just about everything. Good job Hi-po
And for what it's worth I welded my cutout in and i can still drop the transmission with no issues, but my Y-pipe gives me the clearance to do that. Also, DMH makes a great cutout motor, no complaints so far. I've had it for a few months.

Black- 2000 WS6 6spd Hooker LT
Nice info here, but I do dissagree with the tuned length headers causing ground clearance. My Hooker LTs are tuned lenght, no clearance issues, they tuck up nice and tight. Now as far as HP improvements from the tuned length, maybe 2 more.

Maybe ask around some more, and see if anyone has had them, but for 150, eh it's hit or miss. That price just seems too good to be true man.

So i found some pacesetter headers for like $320 and i'm debating between those and the option ebay headers... i know there can be some fitment issues for the ebay headers but how do the pacesetters fit?

Pacesetters should have no problem at all fitting. It's their Y-Pipe that had/has the problem fitting.
