what was the first year that center exhaust came on the camaro? Also is it a rare option as some people claim?

First Year I have seen is 96/97( I'm sure there is prob earlier years)... I like the look but do not think it is rare.

Its rare as hell to acquire now days, speaking of the original SLP option one. There are quite a few duplicated versions floating around out there currently. It was not a highly common option by any means either.

Thanks Pres. I always wondered about that. I've only ever seen one with it and it was Pewter too. I'm thinking about that setup if/after I go boosted ..

I think it's one of the most desirable exterior upgrades you can do on a Camaro. And yes, the original stuff is pricey when you do find it.

Its pretty rare IMO. I have only seen 2 lt1 camaros with it and 4 or 5 ls1, and I have seen alot of f-bodys and who knows if all the ones I saw were orig.
