I guess I have to be happy with it.
It does have an “Old School Gasser” look to it.
Also, was $80 a decent price for it?

Also, it is my first Tattoo, and I got it with my Mom! LOL
How many people can say that?
She got a Tweety Tattoo.

All the shops I've been to draw it up before they put it on you just to make sure you're on the same page... Did they not do this for you?

He drew it up for me, but different than the way I imagined it.
It looked good to me, so I said ok.
I thought it looked good, but people on the internet started saying it was crooked, looked weird, etc…
In person it looks better than in the pictures. Certain ways I turn my arm and certain angles it looks different.
Maybe I shouldn’t care what people say as much.
I think I am just going to leave it alone.

That first picture isn't flattering and made it look like shit (looks crooked), but after seeing the second it doesn't look so bad. If you like it, then keep it man, but I personally don't. After seeing the 2nd picture, my only complaint is the Z looks too skinny on the bottom and looks almost like a 7. Other than that like everyone else said it does have a cool old school hot rod look.

My other friend is really bothering me. (Not the one who went with me and my mom).
He says that I could have gotten HIV or something, because I told him I didn’t remember seeing if the tattoo artist opened up a new needle.
He did wear gloves, put plastic over the arm rest, and the needle gun thing he was using did still have plastic on the end of it.
Only problem is, my arm is red and a little swollen a few inches around the area of my tattoo. And my friend said it could be an infection.
My friend just made me paranoid. Should I worry about HIV or infection, or no?

Its always irritated after. I usually put neosporin on it.. the cream kind. It cools and clears it up

Just remember, when you goto get a tattoo its your way or the highway, cause its your body and your going to be wearing it the rest of your life. Thats my opinion but either way you could have told him to draw up either or design and looked at both of them then decided which one you liked best and if he didnt wanna do that then he doesnt deserve your money. Tattoo artist will always tell you oh I have been doing this such and such long blah blah blah that dont mean shit until you have seen their work and how easy it is to work with them and what their willing to do to keep your business. But shit dude your 20 and thats your first tattoo I am 20 and already have 6 and im working on a full sleeve starting soon, dont stress it, it does look pretty old school and imo dude you can always have them change the colors like some of the other guys on here is talking about doing going with the red and black, would work pretty good cause their much darker colors and it will cover that up a whole lot better. But dont worry about what other people say about your tats their is always going to be somebody out their talking shit about them. Tell them why worry about it screw it I dont get tattoo's for you I get them for me.

Elimin8tor,
I think the Tattoo looks good. Be your own judge and really stop worrying about what other people think so much. Price was actually very good and I wouldn't think they would not use sterile equipment. They have to much to lose if something goes wrong. Be Happy.

I know people that have spent much more on much smaller. Good Price.
I'm going to second the black background/red outline idea too... though, It's your body, do whatever you want.
(I'm not that keen on tattoo's in general anyways.)

i think its alright, 80 isnt a bad price either.
look at it this way, when somebody asks you where is your car, or is that your car, you can point to it extending your arm and showing your tattoo, you'll be like the coolest kid in the parking lot when you do that

Does your friend smoke a lot of pot? I would say he needs a new supplier cuz his current one is sellin him some shit that makes him paranoid. The tat looks good man, enjoy it, like you said, your mom was there, the day will stick with you the rest of your life.....hopefully it was a good day with your mom and you'll reflect back on it long after she's gone and smile about it.

the redness could be a few things, razorburn from when they shave the hairs off, irritated skin, infected, or he could have just went to deep with the needles. remember you just had thousands of holes put in your arm.
