1998 Firehawk prototype headlights on ebay
And for an insane price too. I wonder if anyone will actually buy them?

One of 3 sets made and the only
assembled set!
For the ultimate Pontiac Collector!
These are functional, but cannot be mounted
to a Firehawk - The prototype '98 Firehawk hood
had more material in the headlamp area to
accomodate the smaller encapsulated headlamps.
Sorry, I do not have a hood - they were destroyed.
Well shit let me be the first in line to get fucked for those

why spend 10 grand for something u cant even use on ur car. Yeah i just spent 10 grand on some headlights to sit and collect dust in my office. the might be worth it and thats a big might if u could put them on your car.

$10K for a set of headlamps you can't even use...
those will NEVER sell at that price. what, is someone going to hang them on their wall to show HOW STUPID THEY ARE???
"hey check it out guys, look at my $10,000 headlamps hanging on the wall over there, aren't they cool?"
what a greedy, stupid idiot.

Does anyone remember the Autoweek show they did in late '97 where they road tested the prototype '98 Firehawk? I wish I had taped it when it aired.

If you could take these lights and use them to make a mold for hoods and headlights you could corner the market. You'd be the only one selling the conversion.
That having been said I love the comment on the bottom:

LOL... nice! I'd forgotten all about those things. The reason they were never put into production (per the SLP guy I talked to forever ago) was they did not meet DOT requirements (something about their height and beam pattern). When I worked for one of the other aftermarket companies, I saw this car once. It looked cool, but I agree with the DOT; after having seen the lights on a car, the beam would be too low to be very effective, and probably largely blocked by the front bumper cover.
They do look sexy, though... I'll give you that!

Black/Gold....Now Sold...- 10th Anny. Firehawk #001
If they were so great, and they put so much money into them, why were they never actually put onto a production vehicle?
Those would have been fucking awesome on my 10th!
