who says you can't drive till you are 18? you can get a permit at 16 and take your road test while still 16 in NYC. I had a junior license at the age of 16 and 6 months. I couldn't drive with that but I was able to wait out my probation period of 6 months while still 16 and on my 17th birthday to the DAY I got a full unrestricted license and began driving.

2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
My 1st car was a 54 Chevy station wagon: 6 cyl, 3 on the tree and power nothing. I put a mattress in the back for, well, you know.... My GF made curtains for it so we could "cuddle" without being seen.

Wow do I love the 280. I was a kid when my father had his and I cried when he got rid of it. Even as a lil tyke I had an abnormal attachment to cars
he had a 1983 280ZX 2+2 fully loaded except for leather. As with many cars of its kind it eventually turned into a mountain of rust. I still didn't want him to get rid of it. Even though you could see the asphalt through the floor of the car.
Just like this one
Only he had stock rims and no headlight coversLast edited by LSCyaL8R; 10-01-2009 at 01:02 PM. Reason: Pic doesn't work....

if you get ur drivers ED through your school, you can can drive by 17. I got my permit when i was 16 and by 17 my school canceled the drivers ed. I had to wait till i was 18. you were not allowed to drive with a JR. license by your self, and sure as hell could not register a car.
