Special Edition Trans Am or just Paint job? pic

Could it be the ever elusive Harley Davidson Edition Trans Am?

In 1996, the Harley Davidson Edition Trans Am was available. Harley took a black Trans Am equipped with the WS6 Ram Air package (without the interior from the the factory) and added leather/fabric seats which are embroidered with the Harley Davidson logo. The car also has Harley Davidson decals on the front quarter panels just behind the tires. Only 40 are known to have been made with most of them being distributed in Southern California.

I have seen a Pro-Am edition, but I think there is a decal on the side. but it could be there and just not showing

but the hood in a car in the pic is not ws6

there were 40 Harley T/As but there was a decal right behind the wheel opening on the fenders

I've seen that paint job on LT1 T/As before, 94 or 95 I think, but I don't know what it means

You know about two years back I found a 96 Harley in San Diego for only 10,900 I didn't know what is was, and how rare besides it looking cool. I wish I knew then, what I know now. I would have drove 1500 miles to get it.

I seen on almost just like that yesterday but it was maroon w/ silver on the bottom. It had the WS6 hood, but it had to be a piece of shit b/c it was at a uy here pay here lot.

Did they make a pro-am in the 4th gen? I know about the third gen cars, I had one about two years ago but did not know about 4th gen ones......anybody?--Tony
