why a procharger over sts? turbo controllers let you select different boost levels with turbo, but you have the faster spool with a supercharger. btw its gonna be a homemade kit and i know i can prob do each pretty cheap. like with the supercharger- just buying the head unit and fabbing up the brackets myself and the sts- getting a diesel holset turbo and get some piping and a dedicated oil system in the passenger rear wheel well.

I never liked turbos, but it seems cheaper after doin research than a supercharger since the only expensive part i need is a turbo which is alot cheaper than a supercharger headunit and also i understand there is a higher capability with a turbo.

Now I would be the very first to choose a turbo system over a supercharger.......BUT.........a rear mounted STS system is garbage and you will be very dissappointed. Now a front mount system is a whole nuther story!

Well, if it's just procharger over STS then I will say Procharger. But, if you put a turbo up front I will say turbo all day long. Also, I would forget the dedicated oil system for the back thing. You would have to build a big system back there and then try to get it circulated thru your system. You will just end up burning the oil up in no time flat. Just don't see a system put over the wheel well doing it. A turbo is hard on oil.

Sounds to me like your working with a small budget. You simply can't do turbos on a small budget. I think you will like a procharger and you can get by with not spending a lot of money. You will NEVER have the power of a good turbo system but blowers are a ton of fun!!!

sts or procharger
o and i forgot to mention xessive is an authorized procharger dealer
and the only way to tell the difference from a d-1 to a p-1 is the impeller size , so if someone u know has either or and will let u measure and compare i say go for it

Prochager if its between that and the STS kit. But a good front mount turbo, I'd might lean more towards that
