Red- 1999 FireHawk
Did I get a deal on my Firehawk?
I bought this 1999 Firehawk on Saturday. I found it listed online so I called the dealer early last week to confirm the asking price, the asking price was listed as $10995 for their 1999 Firebird Formula... come to find out, it wasnt just any Firebird after I ran the VIN but it was a Trans Am Firehawk with 54k miles and I couldnt believe it, this is car number 267 and I was able to track down the owner of it before he traded it in on a new camaro. This is a one owner car owned by a 67 year old gentleman from Michigan. Car has a clean car fax. He only drove this car on nice days and it never left if the roads were wet or there was a chance of rain. I had the dealer put the car on a lift for inspection and there isnt a single mark of any corossion which was hard to believe for being 10 years old and in Michigan. The engine bay was as clean as the exterior and Id rate its condition as 9.5/10. This car has the 6 speed manual, hurst shifter, bilstein suspension and auburn differential. I was shocked to find out how limited these cars were after researching them. Do you guys think I faired well for $11865 out the door for this car?

That is a great deal! 54k in miles and a firebird formula! And a firehawk at that! Hell of a deal if you ask me.

Sounds like an awesome deal to me. Less than $11K for a Firehawk with only 54K miles is a steal if its in great condition as you say.
