Should I buy it!
Well...the wife to be put me in charge of wedding transportation. I have posted this up before but now I have decieded that I will rent a school bus b/c its only $250.
But........searching craigslist I found a 1993 ford school bus for $2000.00. It runs and inspected. Will I still have a wedding if I buy it.
here is the ad
1993 Chevy Van Front C30 Chassis School Bus
350ci gas V8, fuel injected
4 speed automatic w/ OD
Runs well and shifts great!
Approx 65k on the clock
Dually rear (Dana 90 I think)
6 BRAND NEW tires
It's dirty, but practically no rust.
Seats 21 technically
Clean title in hand.
$2000 OBO.
Make a party bus, a road tripper, or a custom camper out of it... I just ran out of money.
It was used for most of it's life by a NJ school district's board of education, so it never saw the hard life of a regular school bus.
I NEED IT GONE and I have real close to what I'm asking in it, so make me an offer. I'm more than willing to deal and will consider all trades.

Do you have somewhere to keep it? Will it just end up being an eye sore?
If you would actually be able to put it to use somehow after the wedding, then maybe. Or, I'd say just take the money and do something special while on your honeymoon

No. It looks like a peice of shit and your wife (Fiance? ) will hate it and you. Rent a real party bus. We had one for Prom back in high school and it was awesome. You won't be disappoint.

i vote Maybe, only because i don't know your fiance and she might love it. she did put you in charge of transportation. if you can make it look not like a school bus and more like a party bus before your wedding, you might get bonus points. then, you can use it at football games to tailgate

I say buy it, I always wanted a short bus. Reminds me of Road Trip. It would be cool to have one. You could always sell it to a church later if you needed to.

I'd say yes if you weren't getting married... now the fun and games will be over and the point of having something like that will be gone!

Im still trying to figure out if the title is a statement or a question. Im slow
If its a question, Buy it! Spray bomb (good) black, take the seats out... add a couch, a bed, and a mini fridge. I would love to have that as a project to make awesome.

Well I have an update. I went and looked at it last night. IT IS A POS!!! The motor is dog tired, the amount of work to get it to look decent is not worth it. I offered the guy $900 and got laughed at. I told him no skin off my back. Yeah well...
