same thing happened to my friend.
as for my i got a ticking or pecking sound in my engine, also have over 700 misfires in cylinder 5 from just 1 month.

^^ your car looks bad ass love than color, currently have an 02 z bright rally red im putting ss hood spoiler and new front bumper on, spoiler and bumper are on and are slightly(tiny bit, not noticeable from like 10 feet) darker than rest of car, and idk how hoods color is going to turn out so debating on getting it re painted red, electron blue, or sunset orange metallic

thanks.. i get a ton of looks... they only made my color in 99 and only 1,100 we made including the v6 model... if you repainted i would go my bbm or the sunset orange looks real nice and you dont see to many of those colors.. there are a lot of reds...

i'll go for it even tho this kind of comment isnt always appreciated or understood. dont violate a good z-28 by putting the ss hood on it. do an aftermarket cowl induction or something.

I'm with you guys. I love the SS hood. As a matter of fact I think its the best looking hood for a 4th gen. I won't get one though, I love my Z28 and want it to be set apart from the SS cars.

i understand people think you should keep an ss an ss and a z28 a z28 but to each his own, i would have loved to get a ss from the start, but i took a cherry z28 instead, already have the ss spoiler on my bright rally red car, and idk if its just me, but the z hood is to plain and on red and u cant see the lines too well. i love how the ss hood looks , the only other hood i would consider is the ultra z hood but in this pic it looks like something that belongs on a trans am ( lt1 ws6) some people might be against it but, its not like im taking off my z28 badges and putting ss ones on thats completely making it something it is not.

i want my car to set apart too, but problem is there are ALOT of z28s in my area and SS's are rare so i think they turn heads more lol, jeez cant believe i only posted 9 times on this site , im on ls1tech too much lol
