I registered here in '98, saw the "ungluing" & moved on to tech. Came back a couple years ago not expecting much, mostly post on one thread in the Eastern section. Less traffic now but much more intillegent. Tech & YB are my true techincal sources.

A lot more traffic in the eastern section of Tech.

I was here way before the big crash. First ploace I found when I bought the SS. I had 4K posts before the crash & none in AAG. There was a lot of tech info here at one time.

The site was better. It just seemed to go down hill after the crash, even before then really. Most of the people on here at the time did not even have an LS based car.

It just really seems it's not really a car site any more. I remember the times when Tech was hard core, and if you asked a question people jumped down your throat about being stupid or a Newbee. It has changed a lot since then.

Tony (nineball) & Jon (ProStock Jon) do not own the site anymore & there are nut swingers on every site. You can see them even in this thread blowing someone.

Just my $0.02. Like said, I come here to lurk in on the AAG forum for laughs.

My view of the site, social, not car oriented.

I describe LS1.com as the internet site I visit daily.

Well said Sir. I like to also think of it as the place I go to relax and shoot the shit with some of the coolest people I've never actually met in my life.

With that said, I'm proud to be a member here and I hope I can some day start sharing the knowledge I'm gaining through numerous thread starting and reading with the upcoming newbies.
