,, your absolutely right,.. good memory,...
the best memory i have with this car, is ... the original motor, lasted me to
330,000 miles before it took a dump!.. then it sat for two years, and now its
back in motion again,.. new motor, new interior, ... and since i couldnt afford
a "viper",.. i decided to have my hubby paint it,.. "VIPER RED"...
and now,.. its old enough that i can get collector plates on it,.. but after my kid gets some expierience driving,.. he wants the car. ... .. that worries me,.. theres alot of money into this car, and the fact that ya dont see too many 85 birds in great condition on the road anymore,..

No you dont. There is T/A down the road from me , a 86 I think. It is a pretty good car , rust , dents and such . I remember when I first got my 90. I remember the ,wow factor. It was about a year after I got out of the Marines. I would just sit out in the yard and look at it. Nothing like that first new car, it dont happen like that again .

the cobra is the best of both worlds, you get the power with upgraded brakes, along with the better interior, rear end & gears!

I don't care the 98-04 mustangs are ugly as sin though. Thats why i got my trans am ws6

no,.. your right, the first new car feeling is definately a once in a lifetime,
but,.... seeing my 2000 t/a being brought in on the back of that car carrier, and knowing that i arranged everything myself,.. from hiring inspectors to go to north carolina, to check out the car, since hubby & i couldnt take off from work, ... getting the loan together (home equity) to arranging the car carrier to bring her on home,.. it was a pretty awesome feeling too!
and now,.. we have to two bird driveway!

North Carolina to PA what was so special about it ??I bought my 97 in mid Dec last year. It was a very easy deal. I put down half and got the other from the bank. I am very happy with her. It has the feel of some of my 70s Firebirds , but drives and stops alot better.

I live in North Carolina and it is the same way. I got my bl,Ws6 due to the fact that there are an abundance of mustangs. I work at a place where everyone gets judged by what they drive . GM or Ford. I always say you can tell what someone drives at a party or elsewhere by just listening . The loudest are always the mustang drivers , like they have something to prove. We let the tires do the talking.
