I highly doubt that. Considering the slowest of 4th Gen F-Bodies will still run against 90% of what Ford brings to the table. You may not find any that YOU think are fast due to your HP/Mod level. Shit, 99% of other Mustangs are not even close to you. Its one thing to be stock, its another to be highly modded.

Even Termi's will not be able to compete with them seeing many of them dyno with bolt ons at about 440-470 rwhp and with a ported blower at about 500-515. To get close to his dyno numbers even they have to have ported blowers atleast not just the regular exhuast, pulley swap. So just as there are some fast Stangs there are pretty quick LS1's and many on this site if you go to the dyno listing im sure i can find atleast 10 that pull higher to the tires just on this forum not to mention the ones that arent listed.

So speaking realistically instead of saying who's got more b*lls there are fast fords and camaro's. For most of us that have just bolt on cars and im speaking for the majority a fully bolt on Mach 1 or Mustang GT will barely keep up or lose to a lightly modded LS1 forget a full bolt on LS1. If your talking about dumping thousands into the motor, then were speaking from 2 different planets because you can dump a crap load of money in a civic and get it to run some really fast times and impressive FWHP numbers. In the end i have respect for any car that pulls insane power and 520+ to the rear wheels is no doubt a ton of power.

getting back to the OP... the first couple of days i had my car my neighbor wanted to run me in his fox body saying that he leaves ls1 ss 3 to 4 cars behind... i have a lt1 z28 so i expected to be left 6 cars back. we line up and i get a good take off and he launches great, ahead of my by half a car. after i hit 2nd i start pulling and beat him by like 2.5 cars...he says WTF that wasnt fair.... is ur car supercharged? i just laughed and drove off... my car was and still is bone stock!!! i would like to run into a fast stang but it just doesnt happen where i live

by posting this thread i'm in no way insinuating that mustangs are slow. Ive lined up with a buddy in a pullied cobra a few times and lost fair and square. Hell i was happy that i stayed with him a little bit lol. I also know people with ls1 cars that have walked all over that Termi. But hey thats the fun thing about running into people on the street... sometimes you dont know what to expect.

Shit..... I totally agree with you. I personnally have never lost to a Termi out of 3 races but I'm not going to go around and say termi's are slow or any of that bs. Money talks and bullshit walks

We should (as Ford owners/F-Body owners) attack the rice. Both are V-8's, both are RWD, can't we just get along. Granted there is always going to be competion which is a good thing, keeps us on our toes. But with all the layoffs and bs that the American auto makers are going through, I say we should stick together. I know I am wasting my breath but I had to put it out there

I like nice Mustangs for what they are. Yours is fast as crap with those numbers, but its far from stock. Stock to stock regular Stangs can't hang with LS1's and with similar bolt ons it's still the same out come. They "FORD" had to put a supercharger on to hang/beat LS1 cars. IMO
I like the 90's/03's Cobra's, Mach 1's and GT500's, JP and DG Stangs also. But I'm not going to get one cause I'm a Chevy guy for V-8's.

told my son we have to run these to cars & see who wins I told him Im taking the stang & I will wait for at the end of the line !!!!!!!!!!!!! ta got some mods to air & eng with slp exhaust only 15,300 miles on her !!! Stangs got lot of eng mods tune pipes headers & gears & only 8,800 miles on her !! Should be a good race !!!!!!! Not sure who I want to win !!!!!!!!!!

Because I like to see what's going on with all types of high performance cars, well, except for imports, I could care less what the latest Euro-Asian stuff is, although I do have an account on a 350/370z board that I check now and then. Plus somebody has to keep you guys on track so you don't look like complete idiots when talking about Fords in general, and Mustangs specifically. LOL!
