I have bostons in my c4 vette and they sound phenomenal just off the hu no amp.

LOVED that company years ago when I was into car audio.
Their Pro series had some of the cleanest sounds when amp'd properly that I heard.

Had them in a 94 with no factory amps just stock head unit and the sound was good but then I changed the head unit and it sounded great.

Yea you pay alittle more for them (or at least I did back in 2000) but I like the sound quality of them

JL Audio for the money pretty much best you can get...No Doubt...BA's are very good as well...but we all have are own opinions! JL's for my LS1..
