    2001 camaro

    maf trouble

    could a miss fire from my maf make my converter act weird it feels like it gets out of overdrive but when i tap the brakes it returns to normal, this only happens in the freeway, oo and the tailpipe does look alittle black

    miss fire from your MAF sensor?

    thanks for looking, oo cause i heard that if my maf sensor is bad that it could mess with the shifting, or is my tranny just going bad

    Clean the MAF with MAF cleaner by CRC. It should help. If a tuneup has been done in a while I would do that as well. Plugs and wires. A misfire code will cause the converter to unlock and shudder.
