Wow dude, thats funny. I am just about to start painting my wheels. So did u sand them, prime them and then paint them? Also im going with gloss paint engine enamel. Does everyone think that'll look good or should i go with a semi gloss like Jax? Looks good btw Jax.

i went with the krylon satin black cuz i dont like shiny stuff. i got some 3m removal pads, and just sprayed about three good coats on each wheel then two coats of krylon satin clear. these are bullett proof, no chippin problems. plus if it does itll cost me all of 10 bucks to fix it. lol, i would go with flat or satin, but thats jsut me

question when you painted your front grill the lower one did you just pop it out or leave it in then tape off around it?

i popped it out, i messed up, cuz youll notice that hit has a slilght "V" shape to it. well i put the point up so it would lie flat on the ground and painted the wrong side of the fins.
cammed goat: that is the first thing my good buddy said when he saw the pics that i sent him on the phone.
bandit: im a doush bad and dont know what fappage to the max means.lmao

Not sure if you did or not but my experience from spraying stuff is it helps if you stack several coats of clear on it. I usually put at least 3-4 coats of clear on stuff.

Shoot not for me its not. lol. Here's some advice for wheel painting. If you use engine paint, DONT PUT ON CLEAR COAT WHEEL PAINT. I painted 3 coats of black on my wheel, followed all instructions and put a coat of clear wheel coating on it, and it starting turning my paint gray... it looked like i just primered my wheel, so i had to repaint with black... Just for everybody's information, my mistake for everybody to learn. lol
Note: Im talking about duplicolor performance wheel coating, if i had used engine clear coat, i bet it wouldve looked good.

i used krylon for both the paint and the clear, one thing i should of done was use mat clear and not satin clear. i did put a couple coats of clear on the one wheel and it turned out shiney which i didnt like. i wanted the satin/almost flat look. oh well, i cant complain for 25 dollars worth of paint and supplies and a couple hours of my time. time will tell how well they will hold up.
and i think i will be doing the grills with whats left of the paint!
