What you do when you see another T/A on the road?
I was on my way to a police exam and saw a very nice dark orange WS6 going the opposite way. He or she had all their front lights on. I was surprised when he flashed me his fog lights(I assume they were saying hello). Did the same as well. I've known Corvette guys tend to say hello or something when they see other vette owners. Do any of you guys do anything when you see another fellow Firebird drivers? I also know bike riders will make a fist pointing it down when they pass each other.

Well I havn't had that happened yet lol.
I think that if you see a nice looking Firebird, Formula, WS6, or Blackhawk, you should flash your foglights if they are on or if you have time. Other then that just a salute I guess. Anyone have anything better? Our Birds are last of their kind so we have to stick together, there will be no more Birds.

Pewter Metallic- 2002 Trans Am WS6 M6 D1SC
I usually give a rev.
Having LT's and a cutout gets their attention.
I'll through a wave also. But surprisingly theres not too many other birds around here. Some that I have seen are people drivin V6's and are completely oblivious.

If it's daytime, and I see on oncoming bird, I flip up the lights and then back down. I also give 'em a "V" if my window is down. Basically a Peace sign wave, but I like to think it's a "firebird" symbol.

i do the firebird 'V' two, thats weird i think of it the same way too. last tuesday when i bought my first '98 ls1 ramair, i was driving her back home and passed a fully restored 79-81 style T/A. we both had the tops off and both gave the 'V' sign through the roof, was the most amazing feeling ever. could just be a texas thing but i love it

Of course do it to owners who look like they take care of their cars or who look like they know something about their cars.
And for Stang owner we should give them this

waves, revs, or whatever else is dumb. i had a jeep and after about 2 days of driving it i hated the jeep wave and refused to do it anymore. dont turn ls1's into something so tacky

Dam a jeep is a jeep unless its from the 40s IMO
Us f-body guys gotta stick together. I always wave, rev or give a thumbs up.
After the car shows this weekend I pulled up beside a 60 something year old guy in a 69 firebird. I revved and he looked over, looked down and the emblems, looked up at me and smiled a shiteating grin, and i laughed and gave him a thumbs up.
It was a great feeling.
and pics of said car..

Red Orange Metallic- 1998 FIREBIRD FORMULA
theres like 3 ls1 birds in my town and the rest are v-6's with fat chick drivers. so whenever i wave or rev, they think im a douche trying to race a v-6 or im mistaking them for somebody that i know, so they give me this weird look.

i think another thing is that southern drivers tend to wave at each other more than you guys up north, even if we dont have the same car, if you pass someone on a service road or a country backroad, its not uncommon to just give a polite wave, just to say hey or 'howdy' hah.

I usually give a or a simple , and if it is a good looking gal behind the wheel, she may get a ... which generally gets me in return.
