originally thought that..so i replaced the gaskets with new ones.......the only thing odd i noticed lately is my number 7 injector was soaking wet with fuel....could the seal be bad and causing a leak ?

when was the last time you changed your fuel filter?? i just changed mine after 50,000 plus and my car runs smoother? You could try that there only like $14 at autozone

well how did you fix the coolant lines?? Could something be causing the intake not the settle down?

Think a possible bad injector/oring as well..

Sounds like a scanner with data logging is needed.

swapped to ls6 coolant lines..really once i get my pcm back..i will see if i am still running lean...we re installed my ls6 a few days ago and were extra careful...those fel-pro gaskets pop out more then the ls1 gaskets and once they heat cycle they expand..and can easily pop out a little..noticed that when i was looking at the gaskets..so i cleaned the intake ports of my heads...inspected the intake manifold and dropped the manifold in..compared to the push it in like i did before...making sure the gaskets didnt get pulled out...the car ran perfect after that..with only 1 time it really searching for idle bad...but that could be attributed with idle relearn..so who knows

ohh shit ..well its back...it was running fine for about 180 miles...i first got a tps SES ...replaced the TPS and the idle improved quite a bit..no ses..now my ses light has came back..but i have three codes..2 old ones (lean on both banks) and a new one ..a high idle ses...and then the SES light disappeared..then came back..so i am scratching my head...why this lean condition desided to come back..along with this high idle error..but then go away..and come back again..if it wasn't for the on and off of this lean condition, everything would point to a vacuum leak.

I wonder if you have a warped (at the sealing surfaces) or cracked intake manifold?

Wipe it clean and run it again and see if its leaking from the rail or from the intake side. If its on the intake side, this could be causing a vaccum leak. Id also replace the gasket on the map sensor as you showed that its not in the best of shape. Another good point that Cutlass brought up, did you check the intake manifold for cracks while it was off? I know you got an ls6, but ive heard of this happening to the fast manifolds cause of improper torquing or something like that. You said you put new gaskets on the manifold itself, and got the ls6 cooling lines, id take care of those two things first then go from there.
