Justice is Served in florida
Please discuss, I would have tried on getting them both. People need to learn that "we" are armed citizens.

Justice is served. Side note, my Grandparents live there in Polk County on the other side of Lake Jackson from Sebring. I visited with them the week of the big ALMS 24 hrs of Sebring and drove through the orange groves with the T-tops out. Good times. Too bad that peaceful area was ruined by would be thieves.

Reminds me of a story....little different ending but still a cool story.
My uncle is a farmer and is about 70 years old. His house is about a quarter mile from his shop. He's working in the shop one day and someone drives past and he watched them turn into his drive. He lives in the country so there's not much traffic out that way, that's why he notices them drive past. Anyhow, everyone knows that if they knock and he doesn't answer to drive down to his shop because that's where he's at. After a few minutes the car never shows up so he looks back at the house and it's still in his drive. He gets in his truck and starts heading to the house and they back out of his drive and head off in the other direction.
He gets to his house and the door is kicked in and they had went in and robbed him. He jumps back in the truck and chases these guys down some gravel roads. They end up losing control of the car and hitting a ditch. He gets out of the truck with his pistol drawn and it was 2 younger guys in their 20's. He was scared to get them back in the truck with him because they could overpower him so he walked behind them with his gun on them back to town..........20 miles away.

I disagree that people should kill someone over a car theft. If they had gotten caught. They would have been sentenced to prison time. Not given the death penalty.

If you read the story they tried to run over and KILL him with his own vehicle. The sentence for vehicular wrecklessness with intent to kill is death. So he had the right to shoot.

sends the right message,if you try to steal someone's property, you could get shot.more people should stand up for themselves maybe it would cause a potential criminal to rethink.
