Body Color taillight filler panel
In general I like the way the back end of my Firebird looks, but was considering what a body color taillight filler panel would look like. Does anyone have some pics or can anyone photoshop a pic for me?
I found this pic. Ignore the silly taillight mod and it looks nice:
And of course it looks nice on a black car:
How about a RED Firebird???

yeah I'm not sure either, but I'm gonna try it. I have a cheap body shop hook-up. If it doesn't look good, I'll switch back.
Yeah I assume you guys are talking about the first pic of the silver car. Like I said, ignore the taillight mod. The body colored filler panel in between the taillamps is what I talking about. Not sure if it'll turn out nice, but I wanna try it. Guess I'm just bored

Find a pic of that white concept T/A from several years back with the shaker hood. It has a matching painted rear filler.

Navy Blue Metallic- '00 Formy A4
I don't like it. I think it only works on a black car.
I like the way the tails blend in with each other across the back of the car. Painting the filler panel will break that up, and not look as good, IMO.

Blue 1997 Trans Am(Sold)- Pewter 2001 Trans Am Vert
looks like shit guys, reason being... look at the lines look at how the body rolls. It won't look right because it has to match the taillights. The reason it looks good on a black TA is because the taillights have gloss black as the backdrop... If you were to take the taillights apart and paint all the black arears that form the honeycome to your cars color then it would match and it look better but IMO it would still look like ass.... black is the color and that is the reason...
