Well, when I was running the 4.083 final from the HICAS VLSD, the car capped out at about 125ish at the stock limiter in 4th gear. I get another 1000rpms out of her with my valvetrain. I've maxed out the J30 diffs final drive as well which is 3.92 I think. So it would have to be around a 3.5-3.9 for me to even consider it, because I'm not shifting to 5th.

Thanks, Ya I think it has a pretty nice stance.
The suspension is Stock struts with tein lowering springs, I cut a round n half out of the rear lowering springs so I could get it lower for better weight transfer, Made it transfer the weight ALOT better.
The wheels are 15x8 rear with a 4.5 backspacing, And the front is 15x4.5 I dont remember the backspacing on the front. I had to use a 5mm spacer to clear my calipers tho.
I have a 275-50 Dr on there now. But I wanna zero my rear camber out a little more to put some more tire on the ground on top end. But I cant tuck those 275-50's, So im gonna buy a set of 26x10.5 mt et streets.

Those 275s look wicked out back, however it seems like it's going to hit the fender if the car squats too much, might just be the angle. Camber is an issue with our cars, especially in the rear. I'm running Tein coilovers on both my 240sx (got them used and abused for cheap, and had them rebuilt). I would recommend a set of decent coilovers. Basically, what I do at the track is soften the rears all the way down to the 0 setting, so the car squats nicely. It seems to launch very well. However, I've been told that stock struts provide the best launch from many people. I just can't ride on stock suspension, it's junk to me.
Also, that's exactly what I was running, 26X10.5X15 Mickey Thompson ET Streets in the rear for the low 10 second runs. They bite excellent once you get out of 1st gear. Your setup should have more torque than mine, since you running a 6 cylinder, so you might have to lower the psi a bit more and tweak the suspension a bit, but the launch should be easier.
And, if your trying to tuck those 275s, try getting your fenders rolled out a little bit. It looks real close, I'm sure you can work something out.

Well The 275's use to clear, But Since I lowered it another 1.5 inches and took more camber out they wont clear any more. Thats why im going with a 26x10.5
As For the Coilovers, I had a set of Megan Racing coilovers on it and All the way soft, the rear It did not have enough travel to get the weight transfered, Also the front would max out about 2inches up causing it to shock the rear end and it would go into a spin. Best I ever ran with coilovers were a 1.7 60' Spinning to the 300', I cut 1.6's on the stock the way I use to have it setup. That was @ 7psi on the 2step 5500 out of the hole.
But with this megasquirt ECU and the launch control it has built in it. They claim I can Get FULL boost off the line. so @ full boost ( I dunno what im going to run yet 20-25psi) Out of the gate IS going to make it 1 hell of a ride lol. I would really like to see a 1.3 60' This yr. Im going to Tune it for 400-450rwhp for my first few track passes so I can figure out the launch and suspension setup before I kill it with power. Then ill bump the boost on up and tune it for 550-600rwhp. Then Will see what breaks lol

He's running an RB25 on a Precision 60mm turbo. My 240 is SR20 powered running a custom turbo setup and a large trim GT35R. I believe his should be around 600whp on high boost, mine is around 525-550whp on high boost.
I'm trapping 140mph in the 1/4 mile with my setup and tune, his car should be similar or better once he get's it dialed in.
I'm still working on getting into the 9s with mine, I'm very close at a 10.18@140.04mph, but I recently damaged the input shaft bearing, clutch, and broke an axle during that track session (not all at the same time), so the car is down for some repairs and durability upgrades for the time being.
Currently getting my LS1 240 cammed and ready for action. It does suck having both cars apart though, now I'm stuck with a lousy daily beater.

Well I finally got the Rb propane setup fired back up and got a few runs on the dyno sat. The Dyno kept loosing connection and would not give me an accurate hp. But That was ok because I found a fuel leak in my intercooler causing me to go WAY WAY RICH when I hit boost. I was dipping down into the 9.4 A/f range. I started out with 5psi so I could get a basic data log on my timing etc. I only turned the motor to 5800rpm's also. I was so rich up top it was pointless to try and go any further. I got some video's Ill post later tonight.

Nice. My SR car is still down. Been busy lately and haven't had time to work on everything. I also postponed taking apart my LS1 car for the time being, since I need something quick to satisfy my urges in the meantime. Also, I also decided not to use the MS4 cam that I got from my friend since I figured it would be a bit too aggressive for a street car. Any recommendations on what cam I should go for? Looking for about 400whp. I'm pretty sure the MS4 cam will get me there, but I'm looking to see if there is a cam that will get me there and not have an extremely peaky power band. There is just a rediculous amount of cam choices with all sorts of pros and cons. I'm looking at an MS3 cam as a possible alternative.
