drivers side tail light
ok I am getting a little annoyed with my brake light, I have had 3 people pull up next to me since I took my car out a week ago telling me that my drivers side tail light is burnt out or "flickering" I had a few people tell me this as well last year. I also noticed a little condensation in the tail light as well as the reverse light. i'm pretty stumped, I really have'nt dug into it to much yet, but at a glance everything looks pretty tight, I dunno how the hell water is getting in there. I had my girlfriend press on the brake while I was behind the car and it worked fine, so it happens at random times. what the hell is the deal here!? argh...

Im not sure about the water, but I would guess thats its a bad ground thats causing the light to fliker.

Maybe a filament that's connected to only one side & bouncing around & making contact intermittently.....course with the water in there it could be corrosion in the socket or a bad ground.
I've heard of the lens coming apart slightly with age & allowing water in.....I think they put a thin bead of clear silicone around them to cure the water.
