Summers Coming and Looking to Upgrade Exhaust
Im looking to upgrade my stock setup with a flowmaster cat back to something a lil more "nasty" sounding.
Im currently looking at a set of Pacesetter LT's with EGR/AIR hookups and 02 bungs for all emissions hookups for a 2002 z28
Im also looking to buy a SLP Loudmouth Catback since i heard they sound pritty mean.
All im curious about now is what kind of Y-pipe would be best for this set up
Heard Texas Speed Performance makes a Catted Y pipe for about 350$.
Any recomendations towards any of the set up or any alternative Y pipes that will have cats so its all good and legal.
If anyone has installed a similiar setup like this before any tips or advice will be greatly appreicated.
Thanks in advance.

I currently don't have headers, but also am looking to get some. I would like to get kooks jet hot coated long tubes i have only heard good things about them. I have a GMMG Chambered exhaust. Their catback is great, and the sound is perfect.

Red- 2000 Camaro Conv.
I have Kooks Jet Hot Coated,High Flow cats with a GMMG chambered Center Exhaust. I put the GMMG on before the headers and cats, sound was fine. After the headers and cats it is a little loud especially when I get on it. The neighbors know when I leave the area. I just bought a Magnaflo cat back, and will install it this week.

Well i currently have a choice to make i can either go with the slp loudmouth 2 with the dual tips that are kind of short with 3" piping from the resonator back OR i can stick with my flowmaster catback which has 3" piping in and out of the dual chamber with 3.5" polished tips as seen in pic to the left.
Any recommendations

slp is the worse sound ever after headers, and chokemaster catbacks blow donkey balls. Spintech, magnaflow, hooker, moroso spiral flow are all good.

If you go with the SLP LM 1-2... I bet you will be making a thread about trying to get rid of all the rasp. It is for sure a sound that takes a certain "ear" to enjoy.

See if you can find some sound clips with LT's and the Magnaflow Catback.
Sounds great, and its one of the cheapest catbacks as well while still being stainless.
