this is the wrong section, try the sticky in general help.
anywho, mobil 1 is no where near worth the price they charge, pennzoil platinum and amsoil smoke it. as far as i know mobil 1 isnt full synthetic anyway, more of a blend. get pennzoil platinum, on sale right now at wally world for $20 for 5quarts and then get 1 more single quart and there you go. run a pf 61 gm delco filter for and the full 6quarts and you're good

$1.00 is the difference in price at my walmart so I still use M1. I've been getting really good UOA from Blackstone Labs using a 5000 mile oil change interval.

Royal purple or AMSoil here. Usually get the 20w50 just cause the car is only driven in the summer.

Castrol GTX 10w30. Wasted my money on M1 for years until Sarge set me straight a while back. By the way my car has 143,000 miles and runs like a champ with less than a 1/4 quart burned between changes.

Valvoline SynPower for me. Though I drive by a guy that sells Amsoil on my way to work. I'm going to call him to get 6 qts to try Amsoil for the first time.
