what engine would you like in your new Z28?
i would prefer the 7.0L just cause it's an awesome engine.. but you cant ignore the benefits and potential of a factory superscarged one either!

well are we talking about stock ci and all..i mean i cant tell you..since the ls9 hasnt even been tapped yet for potential.....with the foriged bottom end and set up i dont see why the ls9 couldnt up the boost A LOT!...and tune ..headers , cam ect..it will be knocking on a ls7 tt's door i think for cheaper

I heard that the ls9 if you add more boost it will have detionation problems and that it needs a larger cooling system and intercooler if tring to get more out of it

stop raining on my parade! isn't one allowed to have wet dreams?
isn't lingenfelter having trouble getting much more than low 700 hp out of the ls9 in its current form? mind you that's a pretty easy 700hp to come by...

2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
FYI: The 550hp engine is called the LSA and will be put into the Caddy CTS-V. It's being considered as the engine for the Z28.
The LS9 is a 638hp engine in the ZR1 Corvette.
If it was up to me I'd like to see the LS7 as a (shall we say) big block SS alternative to the LS3 base SS.
P.S.: I know the engine isn't any bigger externally but you get my drift.....

i like superchargers. I'll take the engine with forced and induction and built for exactly that. Give me either though. both engines will make you shit your pants
