What is the true lift with 1.6 rockers.
I have a 350 engine in my 77 camaro that has a 280 comp cam that has a 480/480 lift before the 1.6 rockers were added. What is the life now with the rockers.I figure it is about 510/510 what is it?

Well,
Cam*rocker arm ratio gives you .768"
You sure the cam lift is .480?? Do you have the cam card? I think you fused some numbers up here.

Gross lift is figured on the cam card with the stock 1.5 ratio in mind.
So if you have .486 you divide that by 1.5 and you have your lobe lift.
Then take the lobe lift and multiply by the new 1.6 ratio and thats the new lift you will have.
.518 is the lift with a 1.6 rocker. The lobe lift (which is also on the cam card) should be .324
Hope that helps.
