Insurance paid out, got a beater
Long time no post on here. Work has been crazy and haven't had much free time.
Some of you may remember I had an illegal mexican total my camaro. The insurance company gave me $5500 for it. (99 Z28 with 172k miles)
I took 2k of my payout and bought a beater to get me by for awhile. I got a 93 Eldorado touring coupe. Northstar equipped and yadda yadda. It has some get up and go. Good for a beater.

(replaced trunk pull-down motor, trunk doesn't stay up like that anymore)
Also, last month I had some young dork in a lexus hit my cobalt. Fucker didn't have insurance either. Yay.
For those keeping track at home, that is the forth person to run into me or my wife since september.
1. Semi rolls back into the front of the cobalt. $3500 in damage. Not my fault.
2. Guy runs into the back of the camaro. No significant damage. Not my wife's fault.
3. Illegal t-bones my camaro. Kills it. Not my wife's fault.
4. Young punk in lexus hits my cobalt. $1500 damage. Not my fault.

My insurance company right now is involved in two lawsuits (about to be 3) because of these wrecks.

The truck driver says he wasn't anywhere near the scene of the wreck when it happened. (It was a hit and run) Nevermind i had his plate number, description and he was found a couple miles up the road.
The illegal and the lexus douche had no insurance of course. So my insurance company (USAA) is looking to get their money back.
